Fish Farm Thai Restaurant.. Located @Hulu Langat, It's kind of nearby city, But it's totally a different dining experience, You could get in the city..... At first, I was wondering.... Was it the correct way? It's kind of isolated up and down the hill..... But when we reach there, I'm kind of surprise of the crowd of people.. Although it's a weekday...... The environment is really superb! The fresh air is something we can't buy..... Surrounded by vege farm and fish pond.. Plus listening to Thai song singing live!~ Is really a fantastic place to eat Thai's food!~ Huge variety of food.. For us to choose from... Their Menu!~ Very fresh seafood!~ And very fresh vegetables!~ Guarantee us that, We can eat yummy food here.... Starts up with some relaxing thai coconut to drink... Hmmm~~~ Simply refreshing!~ Very huge crab.... No doubt it's fresh.. But I personally think Seremban Xiu Hai taste yummier... And it's kind of pricey.. I would definitely go to this restaurant again, But I won't be ordering crab next time.. :p Steam ladies fingers!~~ Super duper yummy!~ Especially when it's served.. With crispy crunchy ikan bilis!~ Seafood Tom Yam!~ Thumbs up!~ But personally think it'd be better, If they add in more variety of seafood to cook together!~ Our dessert of the day: Mah Ti: Yummy!~ Mango Dessert: Too sour!~ Anyhow, It's totally perfect way, To end our perfect dining experience!~

My friend and I returned to TWG again for the second time upon agreeing on the best and rather affordable afternoon tea we’ve had so far. Surrounded by luxurious brands like Prada and Chopard, I couldn’t help but to feel atas (high class in Singlish) for 3 hours. We managed to have some private chats despite the unbelievably close proximity to the next table. The two of us used to order the Fortune Tea Set which included TWG Tea Croque Imperial, 2 baked scones/muffins or 1 patisserie, 3 macarons of our choice and 1 TWG tea for RM55++ where 2 cups were served for 1 pot of tea (non-refillable). Unfortunately TWG has changed to meet most of the hotels afternoon tea standard where 1 person has to order at least 1 pot of tea. Therefore on top of the Fortune Tea Set we have added another tea for RM18, making wonderful white and black teapot pairing of Earl Grey and Pink Flamingo. They have an amazing service of tea sampling in case you’re drowning in the sea of their comprehensive tea options.

Assorted Nyonya Kuey | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Bijan is a modern restaurant that specializes in fine Malay cuisine. Bijan restaurant won Best Malay Restaurant in 2004. Many foreigners will visit Bijan to enjoy their local Malay cuisine. It is located at Jalan Ceylon, Bukit Bintang. They have many signature dishes, such as : Ayam masak kuzi, Rusuk panggang, Masak lemak udang tempoya, Kerabu mangga, Pucuk paku grg thai minya, Chocolate Durian Cake etc.. Most of them are very tasty. I like the "Ayam masak kuziThe" so much! The chicken is tender with the perfect sauce, really yummy! Highly recommend! Masak lemak udang tempoya is also nice. The prawn is fresh and full of durian sauce, it tastes great! Talking about the dessert, you can't miss the Chocolate Durian Cake. The cake is awesome good! The durian flavor is heavy! The environment is romantic. It's suitable for couples. I can't wait to visit Bijan again.

Viennese Coffee | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Am pretty sure every lady would be smitten by this warm décor of the café, the moment you step in. Not only that it is comfy and spacious, it has the delicate and floral design that help to add some soft spot to its cottage-like setting. Most of the laid table cloth is of chequered design, that is pleasantly complemented with its rosy wallpaper. This café is actually famous for its tea time vis-à-vis, where you get to sample your preferred fragrant tea from the many dainty ceramics that are sure to mesmerize you with the artful design, like the Latte Mug, which is very beautifully crafted with the Victorian theme. Nice! If you are a tea person, you may help yourself with the many types of tea available here, ranging from floral to fruity variety to calm your weary sinew :D Viennese Coffee Coming to an artistic café should be coupled with a good cuppa, or so I thought. I have been missing this beverage since it has ceased from Nando’s menu. Glad that finally found it here :D The coffee comes in a nice and dainty design of bright red rose theme. Actually I would prefer if it the floral design is smaller so to exude the delicateness of the art. The whipping cream on top comes adequately nice with hint of vanilla flavor to pair with the otherwise stronger coffee underneath it and some sprinkles of coffee powder on the top. It has nice smell and mild bodied. Best to be drank after stirring evenly with the cream for smoother texture. Green Tea Ice Blended You could also go for the conventional choice like this glass of ice blended Green Tea. It is also paired with some whipping cream on top with some dashes of maccha powder too. Like the taste of the beverage for it comes with a decent amount of real green tea taste. When paired with the whipping cream, the drink is further enriched with some milkiness in it and thus taste much better. This reminds me of the similar fair but way concentrated with the milky maccha at Ikuzo Ramen. Although the colour of the beverage served here is lighter than what we used to see elsewhere, it is still considered an enjoyable drink to have:D

The ambiance is very average and reflective of the traditional Chinese restaurants, nothing to shout about, and meets the expectation. The owner Frankie was hospitable.

Tucked away in the golden triangle of KL, this gem of a restaurant serves fantastic fine Italian food. Parking is a bummer and jockey service is mandatory. Food and ambiance fantastic! But the price tag a little expensive, but to some, it may seem fitting, given the fine dining setting. The service is exemplary to a find dine restaurant where the waiting staff knows the food inside out, and the appropriate knowledge of all the wines on the menu. Bravo Nerovivo!

A refreshing concept which I believe will be the future for kopitiam in Malaysia. Air conditioning, clean environment, LED tv, good furnishings (not the plastic type), clean toilets, well trained serving staff and good food. Unlike Paparich or Old Town, the food is sold and prepared independently, just like the old style coffee shop. This keeps up the standard of the food. Prices hover between normal kopitiam and Old Town pricing. This place is one of my favorite lunch location. Food recommended are hokkien mee, wanton mee, log bak and char kuey teow.

What can you expect? Sitting beside a drain, in between buildings under some make shift awning and a crowd that any restaurant prays for. It does serve a good coffee and toasts, but that's about it. The service comes with an attitude but thank heavens the prices are reasonable. Although it opens at 8, but customers are already seated since 7.30. And more often than not, you will have to wait or share a seat from 8 to 9.30am. Frankly and personally, I don't see what is the buzz.

A nice food court concept, by the beach, an extension of Gurney Drive. Definitely has better ambiance than Gurney but the food needs lots of improvement with the exception of Loh Bak, which I found to be one of the best in Penang. The stir fried noodles and prawn noodles are okay as well but the rest leaves me hanging wanting for better. The strength of this place is its ambiance, sea breeze, fast drinks waiting staff and live music and dancing during certain days and hours. Despite the lack of good food, I'd still go there for the Loh Bak and some beers, lean back, take in the breeze and listen to the music.

When it comes to family Japanese restaurant, one can't go past the likes of Watami, Sushi Zanmai, Sushi King, Sakae Sushi, Rakuzen etc. And this one definitely makes this list. Good tasting food at reasonable prices. this restaurant needs to improve their services, as well as their ventilation. I don't think the customers like walking out of a Japanese restaurant but smelling like a Korean restaurant.

Unlike many others that offer Japanese buffet, this restaurant actually offers good quality dishes and ingredients. The sashimi is fresh, the tempura is light and crispy, and the teppanyaki prawn simply devine. the ambiance is fantastic as it does not shed the impression of a buffet restaurant at all. The entrance is definitely a photo op.

One of the best coffee shop/hawker chicken rice I have come across. The roast chicken is crispy, the roast pork perfectly roasted, and the char siew with the right mix of fat and lean meat. The best part is that it is not expensive. One bummer is that long queue forms after 12:30pm, and you have to queue up and self serve, even if you have arrived with an entourage 10 pax.

I am not sure about what is all the buzz about this place. The food is a little on the pricy side considering the quality and ambiance. Yes, it does have a nice toast but there are a lot more places with similar quality and even better, minus all the waiting and the more expensive price tag. One thing I do notice about the clientele, there are the well heeled type. Even though I have put down as family dining, I would not actually recommend to families, especially with children. It is cramped, hot and noisy. Forget bringing your baby.

One of the few Banana leaf restaurants with air-con section. This restaurant has grown and taken up more shop lots. It even has private dining rooms for those wanting privacy. And it is one of the few which managed to provide a clean toilet that actually gives good hand cleanser and paper towels. The fried fish and fried chicken are always my favourites here. Always ended up overeating. Definitely, one of my favourite banana leaves. One word, it is not cheap.

One of my favourite Italian restaurants. Great value for money serving fantastic food. My favourite dish here is the ravioli (any flavour). Always busy, but well staffed by their imports mostly from Philippines who gives great service. When Italian food comes to my mind, this restaurant is definitely top of my mind.

Excellent Italian restaurant, although a bit on the pricy side. Great ambiance, and ideal for a romantic dinner. The only thing that did not go down well was the service which I find the place under-staffed. Another bummer for this restaurant is the serious lack of car parking space. Despite the great food and ambiance, I would not include it as one of my favourite restaurants.

It is desserts time! Strawberry Chocolate Mousse Enrich of chocolate mousse with almonds, strawberry slices, and strawberry sauces. Recommended for chocolate fans. German Pancakes It named as simple as that. It was fluffy and crispy that could absolutely attract your taste bud. Vanilla ice cream places on top of it, with some slices of kiwi, strawberry and honeydrew. Highly recommended. Italian Tiramisu Milky and rich of cream on top of the tiramisu, together with some strawberry sauce.

Mixed German Sausage Platter Mixture of Sausages available in one, with variety of sauces, for instance thousand island, honey mustard, mayonnaise, chilli sauce. Pork Ribs You will be amazed by this dish. It is somewhat bigger which able to serves more than 5 people in a group. Berlin Steak Grilled Pork served with fries. Homemade Spinach Ricotta Cheese Ravioli It does not taste well, as the thick skin covered the taste of the original ravioli. Pork Knuckle I believed many people heard about pork knuckle, but have no chance to taste it right? Come over here to get yourself a gigantic pork knuckle which consists of crispy skin that awfully amazing delicious.

The Bavarian Bierhaus is kind of like bar and restaurant, which major in German style of dishes. As mentioned German, it will definitely remind you of the pork Knuckle, so do I. The environment of this restaurant be partial to quiet, perhaps because of no football match on that night. Let's talk about appetizers. Cold Cuts Platter Variety of meats inclusive with different sense of taste. Together with pickled cucumber and onions. Meats are fresh, but i find tough to swallow the fat of the meat. Bavarian Pork Salad Grilled pork with the complemented of cherry tomatoes, veges, oilive oil. Caesar Salad It taste as what I can had at other restaurants. Shrimp Salad The huge size of grilled shrimp, apples slices, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, grilled bacon possessed a satisfactory taste.
