After few times dine in Pasta Zanmai, my choice still will be the same which is Mini Teriyaki Chicken Pasta to Mini Hotate Pizza. We tried Unagi Bento Set, Salmon salad and the dessert. For the mini pasta set, Al dente spaghetti with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce from the chicken topped with a half-done egg. It was well-seasoned and the yolk gave the pasta a subtle creaminess. With a dash or two of red chilli powder, the pasta was complete. While crispy, thin tomato pizza base with sauteed mushrooms and scallops, topped with a generous amount of mayo-like sauce. I loved that the dough was crisp & thin enough to compliment the creamy sauce. Love the portion to allow me taste for two dishes. Unagi Bento set serve tender unagi which seems able to melt in the mouth while the salmon are fresh to consume with the salads with the ebiko popping between your teeth. For the dessert, sharing always will be the best. Layered with Cornflakes and fresh cream on top with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and fresh sliced banana well matched with the chocolate syrup. Satisfy every sweet tooth. Well designed restaurant with a good service and friendly staffs. Japanese Western fusion cuisine.
