Taiwan Recipe provides variety kinds of Taiwanese food. Looking through the menu makes my saliva dripping because the pictures in the menu are very appetizing. As this is my first visit I have ordered some ‘Popular Food’ from the menu. Special Stewed Rice Set is a very common Taiwan food that can be found in almost every Taiwan restaurant. The set consisted of rice with minced meat, stewed egg and tofu, vegetables, meatballs in soup and Bubble Oolong tea. The combination of juicy minced meat and rice makes every serving enjoyable. The Bubble Oolong tea that comes with the set surprised me. Remember to mark the order “less ice” as the taste of tea is just right in less ice. You’ll know what I mean only after you have tried it! Personally I think it’s great to provide special kind of tea such as this Oolong tea in the meal set because I was sort of bored with Jasmine tea at other restaurants’ set meals. The next popular food in Taiwan Recipe is the Chicken Mee Sua. I like it because it tastes very smooth in the mouth, chewable but not too soft. It also comes with small serving of vinegar for those who prefer to add it into the mee sua. The topping of chicken pieces and cilantro make the dish delectable too. For the environment, it is tidy, clean and well maintained. There are tables at both indoor and outdoor. The restaurant also offer free Wifi. What I like most is the washbasin at the corner along with soap, paper wipes and a dustbin. I like this kind of facility because I always prefer to wash my hands before and after meal. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.
