Bitter Gourd Hok kian Ban Mee | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

I was went to this Momo cafe because of my very first taste voucher. It is located at Pandan Indah, which is same row with old town cafe. The environment is peace and quiet. The person in-charged introduced us some special dish which is not in the menu for instance bitter gourd hok kian ban mee. This is the first time i try this ban mee, the bitter gourd is sliced into very thin slices and fried with chicken slice with thicken black soy sauce. The noodle is not too sticky and tasty. Then, we order a honey lamb steak, momo sandwich, pineapple friedrice and italian chicken chop. The lamb steak was our favourite. It's so aromatic with some mint sauce with it. The tenderness of the lamb shoulder is not too fattening and yet satisfied us a lot. I'm sure order it again for the next time visit. The momo sandwich is another special dish recommend by the person in-charged. It is so unbelievable when we taste it. It gives more than we expect! :D It is crunchy with the cheese on the french toast. Some mixture of onion and garlic under the cheese layer is so flavorful until we finished the whole plate within 10 minutes! The Italian chicken chop is a grilled chicken with some thousand island sauce on it. The chicken is tender enough and it taste so delicious with the combination of the sauce. :) I can say i was admired by the foods in Momo. The friendly staffs there also make me feel at home. I love Momo cafe especially their always creative menu! :)
