Pengkalan Rama Chicken Rice Balls 蓮姐马六甲鸡饭粒, situated in Klang at a very strategic location. This restaurant is newly opened for about 1 month ago, received very good responds, seeing many of their regular customers dropped by to 'take-away' these famous Melaka Chicken Rice Balls. Of course, Lin Jie having over 20 years of experience, mastered the skills and insist using handmade method to make these rice balls. Reached the restaurant before noon, all the food are freshly prepared and served hot. For 2 person, the Taste Voucher allow us to have a plate of mixed 1/4 roasted and 1/4 steamed chicken, two plates of rice balls (5 balls each plate), steamed tofu, Ipoh taugeh and two glasses of iced chrysanthemum tea. The mixed 1/4 roasted and 1/4 steamed chicken are equally tasty - soft and tender chicken meat. But, the portion is a bit small for two person. The rice balls are soft and tasty, very nice having it together with the chicken. Thanks for the generosity, we got extra a plate of 5 rice balls. The steamed tofu topped with fried onion and cut chilies, is very smooth and tasty. Loves it very much. The Ipoh taugeh also being topped with fried onion and chilies taste not bad too. But I personally likes the taugeh from Ipoh which is more fatter and juicier. The iced chrysanthemum tea is a bit sweet. Very nice experience and I have enjoyed the food very much as well as their good services. Thanks to Lin Jie and JoinMe for offering this great food tasting of Melaka Chicken Rice Balls.
